Tarek Atoui transforms Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall into an immersive sound installation

Tarek Atoui brings together ancient instruments, electronics and custom-built sculptures to explore how sound can be experienced through multiple senses. The commission will also feature regular live performances by musicians from around the world, who will improvise and plug into the installation as a sound system.
